Elegant art deco buffet, bar cabinet designed by Vittorio Dassi and manufactured by Consorzio Esposizione Mobili Cantú, Italy 1940s with maker's label and stamp. Apart from producing his own designs, the Dassi workshop realized designs from the likes of Gio Ponti and other well known figures in 20th century furniture. Painted brass mounts with original key hardware complete the upper cabinet over a large, open cavity with a textured surface and floating glass shelf. Overall the buffet is in good vintage-condition, but not perfect with little signs of age and use (see detail photos). Length: 209 cm, Height: 125 cm, Depth: 45 cm.
